Counter pick win rates are calculated from OpenDota matchup data, requiring a minimum of 100 games between any two heroes before showing a result. The percentage shown represents how often your hero wins games specifically against that enemy hero — 55% means your hero wins 55 out of 100 matched-up games, not that it is 55% stronger overall. To use the tool: add heroes to your team and the enemy team using the picker, then select your position in the lineup. The Counters tab surfaces heroes the enemy is weak against based on their current picks, ranked by matchup win rate delta. The Suggest tab uses your team composition and missing roles to recommend heroes that fit the draft rather than just countering individual picks — this is the better starting point when you have not yet decided what you want to play. The manual Browse tab is useful when you already have a hero in mind and want to verify how the matchups look before locking in. Counter pick percentages are not a guarantee — game knowledge, team coordination, and execution always outweigh statistical edges, but the data gives you an informed baseline.
